Just curious ..... we were out and about last night ... and on our way home ... we saw a couple of deer at the beach ... which is not abnormal for us ... but it got us thinking ... wondering how many other beach communities in Florida have deers .... ????

Ha ha .... you're a funny girl Seriously though, that's why we have Deer Lake State Park ... but mostly we see the deer around Topsail State Park at certain times of the day .... last night it was dark and there were only 2 .... and over on the very east end of Panama City Beach at St Andrews State Park, the deer come out in numbers to feast on the scraps of the RV campers.

For proof ... go to:

TOPSAIL HILL PRESERVE STATE PARK
Topsail Hill Preserve State Park Ranger Photos » Florida State Parks

Look about midway down to the right and you should see the photo of a deer at Topsail, which is typically where we see them.

Our backyard is the intercoastal waterway and we get deer every day. I don't think salt water bothers them.

Yep, we've heard about those hogs down in Port St Joe. We've got them too ... recently there was an article about them in the local paper ... they were tearing up the grounds at Eden State Park ... crazy hogs!
