Its been my experience that non pitbull owning people dont like/trust the breed it has a bad reputation as can be witnessed in the many stories about the breed, consequently people avoid having anything to do with this type of dog this includes most places that rent or cater to people.

With so many choices of dog breeds to choose from i dont get why the Pit bull breed is so popular with so many people.
its akin to inviting a psychopath into your home,the dog no matter how well trained or cared for has the potential to go nuts for no apparent reason often with tragic and deadly consequences.
thus the reason for so many rules and regulations concerning this breed.
