If you are thinking to relocate to this area, you definitely need to spend sometime checking out the premises in person. It's like any other area; some aprts are ok, some are less attractive.-just my opinion-
I would direct you toward St. Augustine or East Palatka.

there are lots of giant, rural, unimproved, subdivisions with dirt roads that go for miles in the area. The dirt roads are a pain to drive far on. Bumpy and sandy and they really slow down any commute or trip for shopping. Many lots are small with old single wides as homes.

Interlachen is growing as it is the mid point on a soon to be 4 laned road from Gainesville to Palatka.

Kybird21, It really depends on many factors. Having lived in this area for 20+ years, owned a mobile home dealership for the past 10, I have seen property in the area increase, decrease and just stagnate. If you would like to be a little more specific, I would be delighted to try to give you more insight. Feel free to contact me and by the way, are you from Ky ? If so where? I am from there originally.
