Looking for a city that's low in crime of course, great schools for my kids (8years and 7 months) and diverse. I first had picked metrowest orlando but then learned how it's close to Pine hills which is high in crimes. Not I'm stuck on where else. Please help

I have heard good things about Oviedo... Maybe someone in the Orlando forum will shed some light.

Crime statistics are probably relative. If you are coming from somewhere that would view Pine Hills or other Orlando metro areas "high crime," you must be living out in a rural area somewhere.

I suppose there are 'good' and 'bad' areas of almost any larger city, which reminds me of an old joke: "A man tells his friend, "I broke my arm in two places!"" His friend replied, "You should probably stay out of those places." - Unless you are economically forced to live in a high crime, inner-city area ... why would you?

Very good schools but the opposite of diverse, what one would call "lily-white"...

Check out Sanford, depending upon your budget of course there are a few good options that provide diversity and "A"-rated schools. What is your rental budget and for what size house/apartment?
