We saw them last year in September (we didn't fully move here until June) but haven't seen them this spring. Will see in September if they are back. Pesky critters but they disappear very quickly.

They seem to be more in inland parts of the state nate.

So I've observed. I see them more along the likes of the Triangles Lakes and Jesup and not so much along the coasts. They get pretty bad when they hit your car.

I've seen a few lately. Not nearly as bad as previous times. I am thinking that we are going to get a major bunch of them the next cycle.

Nuisance bugs for sure.

I drive a white car.
They are just as numerous inland after rains in 2017 as they were in 1967.


Fabric softener sheets are handy to scrub them off before they bake.


Still waiting for global warming to bring the beach closer to my neighborhood.
