1, if even.

First, you're going to hear a freight train coming, so you'll have a chance to try and shelter yourself and hold on.

Secondly, my immediate area is not prone to Tornados. Now NEFL does see some Tornado action, but it doesn't really happen in the more populated areas of my city, it happens on the outskirts sometimes, but more often in surrounding counties....it's just the way the land is laid out I guess.

So no, not too worried......I've got enough to worry about as it is!

I know they are a very scary and dangerous thing to go through, but I do not worry about things I can do little about.
Yes, there are tornadoes in Lake county, but statistically the chances of any of us being impacted by one is slim.
Life itself is a risk, and there are risks everywhere. Sinkholes are also a risk....my house can fall into one anytime...but I do not lose sleep over it.

My risk of being killed every year up here in NY with a snowstorm, icy roads, etc, is a thousand times higher then ANYTHING Florida can threaten me with.

So to answer your question, perhaps a 1 or a 2. Having a plan and a weather radio, etc, helps......
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

South Florida tornadoes tend to be weak. I have already been hit by one. All it did was break a window and rip out two trees and make a mess. The neighboring home had shingles ripped off and water damage, but my damage was fixed the same day.

I'd have to be telling a lie if I said I wasn't afraid of Tornado's. When we get those large Boomers I cringe. When the sky gets black and it starts coming towards you. Yikes!!! I know the chances of getting hit by one isn't very good, but it still scares me! # 2 some concern!

"Some concern" for me. Tornadoes need to be respected and you need to take precautions, but as was said before, you get warnings that they're on their way. I have spent my entire life in tornado alley so I'm not terrified of the less powerful ones you have down there. We will be cautious and not flip about them though.

Tornado's are of great concern for me, because of the unpredictability of the forecast. Experienced some in Texas, will take hurricanes any time...

Great concern for me too after living in tornado alley and seeing the devastation they can do. Hurricanes wouldn't scare me save for the twisters they spawn...So yeah, dig me a hole and I'd be in it every time the sky turns green!
