Trip Advisor is a huge mercenary business model.
Fake news there Skippy. TripAdvisor does not pay anyone to post, neither does City Data. Have any links to prove otherwise or just trolling?

It's a nice beach with everything within walking distance. Now that it has some additional high end hotels and restaurants, that just ups the ante. Sure if you don't like crowds and have to drive and park and prefer more quiet beach then it's not going to be your top list. But our out of town visitors always want to go to Clearwater Beach after we've taken them to "better" beaches including Siesta, Ft Desoto, St Pete, Honeymoon Isle and what not.

There's just more things to do and more happening at Clearwater Beach. There's nice white sand when it's not wall to wall people. Plenty of activities and services and fun things to do to help you part with your dollars. Being a local now, I do enjoy going there to play tourist during the season when tourists are gone.

Clearwater Beach has been built up drastically since my last visit 10 years ago. Parking is not tough, you are just not going to be parking on the sand. The public garage by Frenchies worked great for us.

We like honeymoon island, freaking cool for family real beach days, but the waves are way better after a storm.

Hollywood beach is pretty cool as well, just wish there were a little more reasonable prices for a meal. I don't know why the major brand hotels can't put a lower category hotel on the broadwalk. Dania Beach nearby was way better than the ft laurderdle, across the street beach area. I do wish there were broadwalk in every beach town.

Flagler Beach over by St Augustine is a hidden gem. The historic district was so cool, love the way it is set up. Anastasia beach area is a good place to get away from the tourist.

And finally, Bahia Honda state park, closest thing to carribean type beach, with an east and west beach. You can catch sunrise and sunsets everyday.we spent a memorable week camping here.

It happens all over forums like this, everyday...most people that are omnipresent posters 24/7 are likely paid posters and it's their fulltime or part time job! and you'll never know who's really a paid poster.
Heck, you're probably one too lol, with 18000 damn posts

On Topic...Clearwater Beach's endorsement by Trip Advisor shows how out of touch they really are...any fool knows that Siesta Key is far better that CWB. I wouldn't trust Trip Advisors reviews on a hot dog stand either...too many *stuffed balloting" by owners and their reps !
I don't even know where to begin with your drivel.

As alluded to before rather than pull this theory out of a body cavity, please produce some form of legitimate proof of your paid poster theory or take the trolling elsewhere.

Secondly TripAdvisor is widely seen in the travel industry as one of the best sources for reliable reviews and does a pretty good job of policing questionable review practices. As a travel site it would make very good sense that Clearwater Beach does so well given it's amenities other than the beach and sand quality which seems to be all that you're alluding to. Vacationers can find nice sand/nice beaches pretty much anywhere whereas the beach quality along with close proximity to amenities for adults and families is what gives Clearwater Beach the edge.

Also in terms of the beach quality aspect it should be noted that Clearwater Beach was also awarded "Best Beach Town in Florida" by readers of USA Today...who no doubt were also highly paid.

That's my opinion! lol it's just like posters here or on any website, and yes, there are many sites that employ people to hang out on all kinds of websites: lifestyle, political, urban planning sites, chat sites like reddit, automobile marketing, environmental, religious, international (e.g. Brexit), racist, black life, firearm, lgbt, etc. in order to express a paid point of view. Some of the best known are sites owned by Israeli lobbyists to promote pro-Israel positions. More recently, we int he US now know the massive paid influence of Russian paid bloggers before the 2016 US election. All one has to do is "Google" the term "paid posters"...you can also add the name of the owners of this site. Many sites pay for 'contributors'. You can generally spot them on sites easily, they are the ones logged in 24/7, posting during the normal work day, all day long with thousands of posts. It's their job!
What about posters like you that have had over a hundred member names? Are you a paid poster?
