Walmart is convenient if you along with your groceries want to pick up products for your hunting/fishing needs or you need some auto products or some clothing or techno item. They are also open 24/7

Anyway, HEB is a very fine store, like I said before. However, that doesn't make Publix a bad store. Publix is doing well in the markets they serve. As far as price is concerned, Publix exists OUTSIDE OF FLORIDA where there is significantly more competition, and they charge the same prices in those other markets and are able to keep the stores open.
You people don't read comments with substance ???

In S Florida they have tremendous competition, they do not react ....Their Customer Service People, Cashiers, Stockers, Produce, Meat, Deli workers all walk around and try to avoid you...They all have 7-8 cashier's lanes and just 2 opened at any given time .... Expensive and Horrible Service..They are doomed in this part of Florida. Unless of course they finally CHANGE their Tune and make it ~Where Shopping is a Pleasure~.

It is probably too late for that. Disgruntled employees will KILL a business !!!

I live in Orlando. I can’t comment on how they are doing in S Florida. My belief if the fact that they are doing well as a whole are the positive news reports I read about them.

Orlando and Central Fla as a Whole is in the backyard of their Headquarters, they do well there because of that. Here they are HORRIBLE.

I have family in Winter Springs and Clearwater, I live in SW Miami and my comments are a local CRY for them to FIX their Mess !!!

boy3365, on your next trip to S Fla, if you ever come this way...go check the 1st Publix you see out there..It Will open and CLOSE your eyes and MIND FAST !!

We locals re-named the Publix at The Hammocks, the Overgrown 7-11 of West Kendall !!! That's a nice recognition isn't it ???
