I found a few last season and found one just yesterday that wasn't there the day before and a small amount of honeycomb was already started about the size of a quarter but looked bigger with the bees around it.

The best way I found was to buy wasp and hornet spray, it shoots out up to 12 feet or so. So walk around your home and check, once a beehive forms then you are going to have to call a professional.

We did a house a while back, had a huge bee hive under the eve of the house. Owner was aware, didn't want to disturb it. We advised lender to have it removed as you can get the honeycomb inside the wall and become a huge financial hit to get it cleaned out.
