But, this thread isn't about me, or you or even Arcenal. It's about "why the anti Publix posts." The Publix defenders still don't seem to get it and must defend at all costs. That might be a topic for a different thread.

Hyperbolic rhetorical attack? No, it wasn't exaggerated and I really wanted to know the answer to my question but it looks like all I got was mis-information. Nice try though.
Again, your situation is unique to you. My situation is unique to me. It's hyperbolic rhetoric to insist what you are putting forth as your opinion based on your situation is fact and applies to everyone.

For instance, just like Arcenal, I too refuse to shop at Save-A-Lot. Sure, maybe I could save some money on some items if I went there, but A) the closest one is pretty far from me, thereby negating the savings, and B) I wouldn't buy the produce and meat items there that would probably save me the most money. Heck, I won't even buy meat at Wal-Mart. But, that's me. I don't begrudge anyone their own choice.

Then again, I don't necessarily find rock-bottom pricing to be the end-all, be-all on which I make my shopping choices. Distance and convenience are going to be my number one priorities. Again, I find that I can shop at Publix, and my bill will be very competitive (based on what I buy) with nearly every other shopping option in the area. It's not like I never/have never shopped at other stores. I know what things cost.

Yes, the thread is about "why the anti-Publix posts." My issue with your replies is the toxic way you have attacked those who do shop at Publix. Again, you can say why you don't particularly like it for YOU without disparaging everyone else and still fit the theme of the thread.

Looks like there's plenty of attacks from both sides.

hmm...why are the anti-Publix threads? easy answer, it's because of coordinated campaign by several paid organized operatives to sow seeds of discord and malcontent.

It's done all the time in national, state and local politics....in this case it's disinformation

Twitter, Google , Facebook are also rigged to shape the news and public opinion. The internet if full of purposeful bias, in this case it's full of leftists agenda....retail operatives like AMAZON (who owns Whole Foods) which is also a LEFTIST organization employs the same internet bad-mouthing technique in the grocery sector...THAT'S WHY "so many negative threads" about Publix Supermarkets. It's a thinly disguised attempt to negatively "shape opinion" about Publix. WAKE UP PEOPLE

Slinging mud at a retail competitor is easy now with the advent of the internet...and you'll never know "who's on first", or really what the truth is.

Simple.

Perhaps then you could steer me toward the compensation source?

They are not trying to be Wegmans or any of the other chains they are constantly being compared to. They would not rank at the top or near the top of almost every Supermarket survey if they weren't doing something right. So all you naysayers and purveyors of gloom take your posts elsewhere and if you don't want to shop at Publix don't. I suspect some are paid to go on here and trash Publix as a way of boosting their own stores, but it won't work.
You obviously work for Publix.

Meh, you'll get bored soon and move on.

Pretty sure a good-natured ribbing in response to a conspiracy theory is a lot different than calling someone "stupid" for their individual shopping preferences.
