Right wingers love to talk about trickle down and rising tides lifting all boats and that economic growth happens way more in Cali than many red states

Extremism on either side is bad.

For most Californian families, home ownership is just about a fantasy dream. Despite having higher wages, the median home price is significantly more out of reach.

Florida: Household makes $51k and median home price around $230k

Or

California: Household makes $68k and median home price around $545k

Or

Texas: Household makes $56k and median home price around $189k

California is nearing bankrupcy. They are Trillions in debt, I think $2.3T if I recall correctly. $1T is from government worker pensions.

There is no middle class left in Cali. Its all rich and poverty stricken, not much in the middle.

People are flocking from Cali to Nevada, Arizona, and Texas and still voting for Dems in their new States. Unbelieveable.

IT is the only thing propping up Cali now. They've lost several major corporations to other States...mostly Texas. Same as New York (GE just left for Boston).

Many or maybe most Lib states are nearing bankrupcy...New York, New Jersey, Illinois, California, Connecticut.

Tent cities abound in Cali.

If California reformed their government it would be the most prosperous state in the country easily. However, as is, the government pensions are basically eating up all the funding.

And guess which state has the highest black population in the country? Guess which party runs cities like Jackson?

You people keep going with the "right wing iz bad for states lolz" yet ever since Rs gained state control in 2012 the poverty, unemployment and uninsured rates have dropped. Dems had 2/3 of state control(House & Senate) for 20 years prior with a few exceptions, and held a trifecta(gov, house and senate) from 2000-2003.

Unsubstantiated claims. Links please. The FL C-D threads are loaded with your documented falsehoods, including several about California, so anybody would be foolish to believe anything you post that isn't substantiated.

Here are some median household income statistics that belie your claims about California and should raise great concerns about Florida.

https://www.advisorperspectives.com/...te-2017-update

Note that the median household income in California is 30 percent higher than in Florida and is still increasing. The median household income in Florida PEAKED in 2006
and is down 3.6 percent from the 2006 peak.

Rather than worry about California, Floridians should be concerned about the decline in Florida's median household income, which is frightening if adjusted for inflation.

This is the Florida forum. Rather than discuss Florida, you and other greeders and man-made climate change science deniers constantly attempt to deflect the discussion to comparisons with California, and, in your case, ridiculous falsehoods about Ohio energy exports to China. Madness.
