So that narrows your search to the 5 hospitals!! Gainesville//Lake City//Orlando//Tampa & West Palm Beach......Now you could narrow even farther...Do any have any openings that you can transfer to? & How far from the hospital do you want to live?

I personally hope to live in the Gainesville area....as A vet I heard excellent things about the area as well as the VA Med Center there. I got 2 more years to make my final plans to get out of Martinsburg VW...waiting to turn 55 so I will have more options on places to live [apts & 55+ communities in the area]

Actually there is a couple openings in Gainesville, one of the listings even offers a recruitment bonus! I am doing some graduate work at UF, and just came back from a week in Gainesville. It was so cold up here when I got back!! My husband isn't sure what he is going to do for work yet, so we will start off renting or buy a condo. I was even thinking about buying a condo in Gainesville (this of course is if I were to get the job transfer), and then if we could afford to buy a house, keep the condo and rent it to college students. By then, my daughter may even be going to UF - who knows?
