Not any more than I can “prove” the earth is round to a flat earther.

I will never meet your burden of “proof”. It’s akin to you asking me to land a probe on the sun to “prove” to you that it’s hot.

There is a scientific consensus and you’re choosing to ignore it. I can’t help you.

California elects the type of people you advocate and look at their droughts, wild fires, earthquakes, etc. The bottom line, we don't have enough influence to make a difference on natural disasters. We can make a difference with keeping our oceans, lakes, rivers clean though. We can make a difference for lessening the amount of trash we accumulate. Those things are perfectly fine.

However, using scare tactics that sharknados will be frequent and life as we know it will come crumbling down just gives ammunition to people who truly believe we shouldn't do anything for the environment.
California didn’t tip the presidential election or seat senators who are ignoring science. They are doing their part.

Wrong.

See post 126 in this thread.

Can you imagine our nation today if the denier mentality had infected the American leadership during the Revolutionary War, Civil War and World War II generations? Don't bother trying to imagine such an alternative universe as it's very likely there would NOT be a U.S.A. today.

You are in dream land. Normal changes can't be undone. Unless we use Nuks and that would give us a few cooler years.

Ok dad. You guys get worked up over nothing. The sad fact is , the planet will keep getting hotter and nothing can be done to stop it. You can beam every car and person off the planet and the heating will keep getting worse.

Your definition of “nothing” is different than mine.

Where did you get your PhD in climatology?

A class 5 would devastate most places. They keep building these high rise condos with walls of glass. Don’t understand it in a Hurricane area. They used to keep the buildings low. Seems like the contractors always have the money to get things changed.
