There is no such thing as a category 6 hurricane. Any hurricane that is 155 mph or stronger is a category 5. Florida also got more hurricanes from the 1910s to the 1940s than we have recently.

Not yet. The last cane that hit FL could have been the strongest ever if had more time to build over water. If had another 200 miles to go it could have been 180mph+ with gust to 220.
