Yes. These dreary cold/cool days remind me of living up in the mountains. Beautiful the 10% of the time the sun was out, the other 90% was depressing.

Omg, cry me a river. I swear Florida attracts the weak. If temperatures below 70 degrees keeps you from leaving the house, maybe you should see a doctor.

I wished it would stay cloudy and rain year round. With big temp swings from 25 to 80f. If i never saw the sun it would be too soon .

It is fascinating given how all of FL is pigeon-holed as one climate how there is something of a climate zone divider that seems to run the state east-west from Port St Lucie to Sarasota. South of that demarcation the winters are markedly milder than even Central Florida with the warmer ocean/gulf breezes you mention as well, as well as summers for that matter.

I hate when it gets in the 40s overnight and into the morning. The house gets really cold. I feel sluggish. I have to wear pants instead of shorts to walk the dogs and wear a hoody and then another thicker fleece lined hoody on top of that.

Cool? This is perfect. We have a place up north in Coastal RI and the perfect day is 74 degrees and sunny.

In fact, the best weather in the USA is usually considered similar - San Diego, etc.

I like it. If it never hit 80 I'd be happy...and if I rarely have to turn on the A/C, that's a big plus. Fresh air is under-rated.

We've spent 4 months in the winter down here some years with a total of 5 rainy days. So we don't mind some of it now....think about it this way, it will make the plants and all the life that depends on them - thrive. So when the sun comes out (later today!) things will be nicer and cleaner.

If you want depressing come up to W. Mass. where a "sunny" day during the winter means maybe on hour of seeing it behind the trees (low sun)...

Have you considered Portland, Oregon?

I love that city and the surrounding area is beautiful. The reason why I cant move there is there Are only something like 144 sunny days per year. The weather is not extreme like the midwest or NE. It’s just has too many cloudy and rain drizzle days. Consider it.
