Trump administration to release some migrants caught along southern border into South Florida

¨¨Broward County Mayor Mark Bogen said Thursday that Customs and Border Protection officials told him they would unload about 1,000 migrant families each month, evenly split between the two counties, for an unknown period of time.¨´

Sheriff Bradshaw is livid. We already have a big homeless problem. These people are going to just be released into the population. Where will they go?

People are speculating about a tent city in John Prince Park as there already is a group of homeless there.

Lake Worth seems like a likely landing spot for many of these people. Plenty here already.

I won’t comment on life before various other influxes of immigrants. The rich neighborhoods don’t suffer from this stuff; the working class neighborhoods do.

Where will these people work and how will they be able to live in an area that has one of the highest costs of living as far as household expenses go?

The CBP is totally overwhelmed....maybe they figure it's time to start putting the illegals where people will scream the loudest

...that would be my plan

In the mean time...San Diego is suing the government because they have too many illegals now...I kid you not

Dade and Broward County's shouldn't have any issues with taking them all in....except law enforcement, hospitals, and the top 1 percenters. I vote to drop them all off there.

Well, perhaps if border patrol didn’t shove them all into what amounted to concentration camps they wouldn’t have the issue of having to dump them in So. Florida. Don’t get me wrong, I believe people should come here legally however the current circus..er um, administration went about it the entirely wrong way.

Lake Worth has the Guatemalan-Maya Center and tons of immigrants.Im sure they’ll be coming here. LW is under the jurisdiction of PBSO as they took over the city police department.

I do believe it’s partly revenge against liberal counties. LW is already a mess. Should have followed my instincts and run years ago.

It's all about the social services. Just like you pointed out above that LW has a center for immigrants, communities that have more social services for the ethnic groups involved are going to get the illegals.
