Gulf co took a direct hit.... scalloping is very good. I've got some productive spots this year in Pasco, but yes you're correct, conditions aren't the best. Trout are kickin' butt.

Another one

https://www.al.com/news/2019/07/geor...each-trip.html

"It's totally natural
It's totally normal
It happens all the time
It's extremely rare
It's overhyped by the media
It's been happening since the dark ages
It's Liberals, Obama, Hillary, AOC's fault"

Am I missing any excuses?

Yes,

Its Trumps fault,

The last Governors fault,

Conservatives fault,

Sugar farmers fault.
Climate Change.

Reality is that it is common in all ocean states and ditto with even lakes and streams and ... FL is not the worst State.

No worries..just curious. I’ve heard it can be good up there. I’ve never been but it does seem like something I’d enjoy doing....and eating.

I gotta run past 100 miles for 600ft. but never fish past 280ft as the current is always bad. I like 90 to 170ft the best.

I wonder where the fish take a dump? or birds? Actually when the mullet run is on there is a lot of fecal matter along the beaches, due to fish poop.
