I don't understand your health concern. Are you afraid the pole will fall on you?

I thought proximity from a home to power lines was a common question/concern for people.

First time I ever heard about it was from a Realtor - but it was those big tower type structures.

But no, not a joke.
I think for most, including realtors, if there is any concern, it's aesthetic. A 50' pole running 3 795 wires down the residential road is certainly not a pretty sight.

Very high voltage lines can causee low level electromagnetic pulses which can affect your health, no doubt..some more than others, this doesn't look like a high voltage line, but there ARE some buyers who may not want to have a power line in their backyard.

Transmission perhaps. You're not going to have transmission lines running close enough for that. They typically run in remote areas, as they need quite a bit of room, hence a very wide ROW path, and require high height clearance as well.

Distribution lines are everywhere, whether you see them or not.

Not true, there are high voltage lines that buzz like crazy running very close to the last built out "community" in the Meadows in SRQ, and one very close to a neighborhood near Rosedale.

Thanks Arcenal and techie.

I wonder if eventually as land becomes more and more scarce they may start building closer to transmission towers. And what will people get told then.

and techie - where is SRQ and LWR? Is it in Florida? (sorry!)

Unwarranted fear without any understanding of how life, lights, and TV's work. You have just pointed to a adult version of the boogie man.

It's not real.
