I usually only see them in the morning and midday, rarely in the evening during the busy time.

The people are going to get groceries either third party or themselves.

To be perfectly honest, I encourage Instacart to keep delivering and hopefully less people will go the store.

I'd happily have more delivery people and less of those parents with 3 kids in an SUV grocery cart that they then leave in the middle of the parking lot.

Publix is expanding self checkout lanes to existing stores. I know at least two stores that are adding them through remodel and expansion.

How can you tell an instacart shopper from a regular shopper? also i'll presume your endless problems with Publix makes me think theres a political agenda afoot as its obvious you dont go to Publix but you keep complaining about the place. Its not like you dont have choices =

It's very easy. They are in an Instacart uniform. They have their carts full of Instacart labeled coolers. They are staring into their Instacart phones. Next time I go to Publix I will snap some photos.

They must all shop only at YOUR store lol. And if you hate Publix so much, why even shop there? As another poster mentioned, you definitely seem to have some kind of agenda to keep starting and perpetuating these over-the-top threads on Publix.

This is a bit unnecessary, just be fair. This is a personal attack. Also, I don't shop at Amazon either which is one of the biggest offenders in privacy if you didn't know ! I don't wear tin foil hats, I just use my head and common sense. But whatever works for you is fine with me, it doesn't make you more enlightened or smart. Your comment is snarky but elucidative. Call me crazy, but I don't shop online using my personal financial information, codes and numbers. I don't shop online at all. I'm sure not going to bank online. I know better. The massive amounts of data breaches should educate lots of users who seem to think think activity is somehow innocuous. It's no such thing. But again, have it your way, I'll keep being safe as I can.

Instacart employees wear a uniform. Basically a black shirt the the green logo. They also are on the cell phone the entire time getting the items listed, and rush around very quickly. Do not even need to wear a uniform to know it us them.
