the observed sea level rise.....has been 1 inch a decade for over 100 years...before global warming...during global warming
...global warming has had no effect on the rate of sea level rise in Florida

guys...you might have a better chance of pulling this off....if you didn't make it so obvious it's a scam

Sea level rise in Florida has not changed in over 100 years....it is exactly the same...global warming has had no effect on sea level rise in Florida at all

Global warming has been going on for over 50 years....sea level rise was less than 1 inch a decade 50 years ago
...and it is still less than 1 inch now....global warming has not changed it one bit

..it's less than 1 inch a decade...less than 1 inch in 10 years.......9 inches in 100 years

in over 50 years....scientists...have been predicting sea level rise in Florida will increase
they were wrong 50 years ago....they are still wrong now...it has not changed

The agenda has changed fyi, desantis acknowledged climate change and its associated effects as soon as he got to office. Now Utah is too.

I understand the catch 22 you guys are in...

Everyone..including climate scientists....knows that China and the developing 3rd world countries are responsible for global warming

..but you can't blame China for it...there's no money in it...and China will tell you to pound sand

In the past 50 years...China has increased it's CO2 emissions 10 times greater...and is the world's largest CO2 emitter by far

...the USA emissions are the same as it was 50 years ago

all of the increase has come from China > https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...ederations.png

blaming the USA....and doing every kind of backflip to avoid blaming China.....just screams scam

As noted in post 40, the Miami sea level rose an average of 5.9 inches in 23 years between 1996 and 2019.

https://www.city-data.com/forum/flor...e-water-4.html

None of this matters because only in recent years have temperatures in the Arctic and Antarctic increasingly surpassed the melting point of ice. What is relevant to Florida today is how much sea level rise will increase in the years ahead.

As noted in post 33, one of Florida's top sea level experts expects 2.7 to 3.4 feet of sea level rise by 2046.

https://www.city-data.com/forum/flor...e-water-4.html

The NOAA projects as much as a foot of global sea level rise by 2030, which implies over an inch PER YEAR of sea level rise by 2030.

https://www.wlrn.org/post/new-sea-le...aster#stream/0

Climate change denialism is on its last legs as the reality of a warming cryosphere and accelerating ice melt is reflected in accelerating rates of inundation.

Unfortunately, Florida only now is beginning to adjust to this changed reality, and Florida communities are struggling with the financial burdens of dealing concurrently with aging infrastructure the consequences of higher water tables and accelerating sea level rise.

Same old beat horse going on. The same few with the heads stuck in the sand. Sad fact is the planet is heating up and sea level rise will be 12ft+ within 70 years in some parts of the globe. Been hot and cold many times over millions of years and will again until the sun takes us out in around 4.23 billion years as it grows about to our orbit.

Am I missing something here because 1 inch a decade over 89 years is 8 inches. I would think if it continues, at some point, it will become a problem for those living on the beach.

the only thing your missing is that the tide gauge record says it's been exactly the same rate for over 100 years....

long before global warming.....global warming didn't change it one bit

..do you even realize when you are confirming everything I've said?

more excuses for China.....but China per capita....but China per GDP....but but China it's only fair....but but but but but......LOL

When global warming was discovered...50 years ago, we quit....China increased it 10 times more

blaming the USA....and doing every kind of backflip to avoid blaming China.....just screams scam
