Oh wow, that's why this virus won't go away! If she was positive, she should not have gone to the work event, she should have stayed home. Why would her employer have required positive employees to go to a work event. Makes no sense at all! Everything I read states that if you are positive, STAY HOME!
SanyBelle, she tested positive after her "mandatory" work event where she was "not" wearing her mask. She works from home and stayed home "as usual" = was not infecting others, she was infected by someone at the meeting. Does this clarify what I stated?

As far as her employer "requiring" folks who tested positive to attend, they didnot. Lol, folks would not be telling if they did. I am sure the infected person "probably" didnot know. Some folks NEVER feel sick but are CARRIERS. That is why I wear my mask and social distance in public.

Florida residents testing positive for COVID decreased the past two weeks | WUSF Public Media

Although the current surge seems to be waning, the number of deaths in Florida related to the virus has passed 78,500 residents.

The numbers of Florida residents testing positive for COVID-19 have decreased the past two weeks, according to data released Friday.

The state had a reported 54,353 new cases during the week that started Aug. 5, the first time in at least 10 weeks that it had fewer than 65,000 new cases, according to the data from the Florida Department of Health.

The state had 65,665 new cases during the week that started July 29, which also was a decrease from previous weeks.

According to the state report, the positivity rate was at 18.4% over the past week, down from 21.2% from the previous report of two weeks ago.

Hey SanyBelle, are the numbers "increasing" on the data you posted just now? Lol, I am determined to figure out your charts.

The 6,969,605 for Monday, is that total reported cases.

Hmmm 78,748 total deaths?

What does 4,221 mean?

What does 17 mean?

What does 85,968 mean?

On my Android, it is not a chart, jumbled up.

Thanks!

Hmmm 78,748 total deaths? Total Florida Deaths (reported on Monday) to date since reporting started.

What does 4,221 mean? Calculation of Monday's (08/15/2022) Total Cases minus Sunday's (08/14/2022) Total Cases = new Today's Cases reported Monday.

What does 17 mean? Calculation of Monday's (08/15/2022) Total Deaths minus Sunday's (08/14/2022) Total Deaths = new Today's Deaths reported Monday.

What does 85,968 mean? new Today's Tests reported Monday.

On my Android, it is not a chart, jumbled up. This software does not render well on mobile devices (phones or tablets), only on on computer screens. I have put headings above the columns, but it's difficult to view this on a phone.

Thanks!

I understand. This software type is BBS software and has not been updated so that it can be viewed well on mobile devices. It's "old-fashioned" and probably 30+ years old. I read that the software might be sunsetted (become obsolete) in the future. Software like Twitter and Reddit have replaced most of the older BBS software systems.
