Plenty of rain around the big lake blake and offshore of Naples and some was on the east coast. Not sure where you are.

I hope other places are seeing what we are seeing...the beginning of rainy season coming a bit early.
The reason we have so much standing water in some places is because it's been so dry the ground is dry like plaster and it will take time for the water to go down. We had very little rain this winter, almost none, just a trace in March and almost none until the last week of April.

Well, first we had "Global Warming", and "Climate Change", now we have "Global Drying", and "Precipitation Change".

I know that you know this: we usually have dry season, from around November to April, then wet season from around May to October.

Boring and predictable. This year is no different.

But certain people pretend to forget, out of their own narcissism, and then display their arrogance by calling it "science".

Good luck with themselves.

In the meantime, each individual measures his own risks and existential threats.

Take care!

We finally got some rains in SW Miami, they did not last more than :30 minutes, with 15 of those minutes with heavy squalls.

That was it, it happened yesterday around 5:30 PM. We will take and need more of it, but The Weather Channel has Us here dry thru May 7th.

I hope they are wrong !!!

Global warming is climate change and it is global drying and precipitation change. It's also these freak storms that enten the gulf as a category 2 and when they get to the top to Mexico Beach they become a category 5. It's also the hurricane that hit the Bahamas last year that hovered in one place for 48 hours causing total devastation.

That last cane would have been the strongest ever if it had 200 more miles of water and 24 more hours before making landfall in the Pandhandle randle. With our super hot falls we have seen the last 9 years the gulf water temps boil in Oct with well above normal water temps. You have one or two on here that stick their head in the sand and have no clue so, they say silly things milly.
