We'll see...no one would stop them from opening....and I don't think they would have the power to remove the road block

...DOT/State tried to remove the road block in the beginning...Keys managers/City/County told them to pound sand...the road block stays

May 1st, 2020...We have entered the Twilight Zone! The Purge has officially begun....we are in a time with no government, no rules, no laws, no enforcement.

Governor DeSantis's prior C-19 rules expired 4-30 midnight, and the new ones do not begin until 5-4-20. We are now in no-mans-land.

Funny, nobody has stormed my gate, & I'm sitting out on my lanai drinking a cup of Joe; just like always.

I'm trying to think of something dasturedly deed to do that wont hurt anyone, or anything, to exercise my new found, yet temporary, freedom. So far, the act has evaded me. I did put my trash container out on the other side of my driveway than normal, as a silent act of defiance. They just picked it up, so score one for Purgers!

Be safe out there until 5-4 when we once again become a State of Coronavirus laws.

LOL. Was this even ever enforced? I’ve been seeing people walking around all over in Thornton Park and South Eola at all hours. The DGX store CLOSES at 11, so there are always people out and about well after that.

We are reopening all the way simply because we don't have the law enforcement or political guts in Florida to actually police this Phased opening. What Mayor wants to make national news arresting shop owners for opening their businesses? DeSantis and the President will run you out of office as quickly as you can blink for bad national press.

Imagine the protest that would form for hauling some lady out of her solon leaving a customer with half cut and dyed hair, wont happen. Consider the state fully open on 05/04/2020

Orange County should have a perpetual 11PM-5AM curfew. What a crime-ridden dump.

Depends where you go... As with most places. Plenty of great, safe, beautiful areas in Orange County.

Meh... For suburbia, sure. But for anything more, I prefer Winter Park, Thornton Park, Delaney, South Eola, etc. And even then, in terms of suburbs, Orange County still has Windermere and Dr. Philips. The neighborhoods off of Winter Garden Vineland going towards Windermere Prep are amazing!
