We are moving to Florida in late summer and actually have the option of 5 different cities. We are from Oklahoma, so we will need to consider price quite a bit b/c we are not used to such high rents. I would like to stay under 2000 for monthly rent. Also very important is A+ schools. I will not negotiate on that at all. My cities are: Orlando Tampa Miami Ft Lauderdale West Palm I will happily move to a suburb of these, but I hate long commutes. Advice??? P.S. I also work in the culture/arts scene, if that helps. My husband will be a pilot and gets to choose from one of those cities.

Orlando- Most of Seminole County (especially Winter Springs, Oviedo and Lake Mary). Winter Park, Dr. Phillips, Windermere.
Tampa- Palm Harbor, Westchase, South Tampa, Safety Harbor Tarpon Springs, there is more but I'm not sure of the names
Miami- Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay
Ft. Lauderdale- Weston, Davie, Parkland, Cooper City, Boca Raton (in Palm Beach but commutable), parts of Coral Springs, parts of Pembroke Pines
West Palm- Wellington, Jupiter, parts of Boynton (chiefly unincorporated sections), parts of Palm Beach Gardens
