A lot of out of work parents, starving children, failing children bc remote learning sucks, divorces, astronomical rates of violence/overdoses/suicides, foreclosures ....

We paid a huge price here. Our levels continue to fall. 9 deaths yesterday, 746 cases statewide out of population of 19 million

BUT knowing how the majority of the country handled this virus, I feel lucky to live in NY
Cuomo did an excellent job, especially considering NY was on the front line of this and the first big city in the U.S. to really get hit hard.

Can't wait for him to run for President! President Cuomo......say it together, PRESIDENT CUOMO.

Cuomo is a failure of a human being. Laughing and yukking it up with his juice head brother on CNN ( his brother making a ethnic joke by using a large q-tip as a prop to show Andy has big nostrils ) while millions are losing their livelihoods. Instead of dumping cover patients off at nursing homes he could've used the Comfort and the mobile hospital set up in Central Park courtesy of Donald J. Trump but didn't want him to look good. Also banned hydroxychloriquine , once again to show up Trump. Great job. Lets not forget his bail reform which is code word for releasing violent criminals onto the street all the while handcuffing police from doing their jobs. 1 million+ people have left that sewer since this coward took office and now you know why

People keep bringing up the nursing home issue, which is of course tragic. However, after doing a Google search for stories or commentaries from that week and also the same on Twitter after figuring out how to do a date-based search, there is very little commentary about the order during the week it was issued. Before COVID flared up in America, I kept hearing stories about how NYC hospitals are at near capacity on a normal day. Of course that is not reflective of the entire state.

This is hindsight bias and Monday morning quarterbacking at its finest.

As a resident of NYC, that's the LAST thing I'd want.

So......instead of wearing a mask and going to places indoors, covid parties and bars without one is not russian roulette? Ok.
