You realize that Florida announces the number of covid positive tests NOT the number of people infected?

I have staff that have tested multiple times.

What do you consider the pre-covid issues?

Untrue.

Positive tests are only counted once — that is — multiple positive tests for one person are only counted as one positive test. However, each negative test is counted as a negative, even if someone has more than one negative test. The result is that the multiple negatives actually make everything look better than it is, making the positivity rate seem lower than it actually is.

It's easy to point fingers and claim mis-management when there is no way to prove anyone else could have done better.

When people try to start these arguments I ask them to name one public official who has not made mistakes in this crisis. In most cases there was no 'best course of action,' but just several courses of action that all had huge drawbacks. Too many instances of "you have two choices, and both choices suck". Again, no one "side" can claim they did any better or worse--all they can seem to do is criticize "the other side" and ignore the failings of those with whom they agree politically. It's all so pointless.

Daniel Avery:

Again my point is that is NOT Florida alone....It's all the States in the Union, and never mind the rest of the Globe

The state government does not have a plan, they just react - way too slow and way too late. The state government hoses our own residents on purpose, minimizing the federal dollars that could have come into the state. Why a state government would purposely make the unemployment system so unworkable that we loose much needed federal money is very poor and detrimental logic.

We Floridians are suffering more deaths than many countries. With almost 32,000 folks hospitalized for coronavirus why are they thinking of opening schools? Do we need to fill up the few remaining beds/ICU units that badly? Slow, late and dumb reaction, that is all the support we get. https://experience.arcgis.com/experi...38ddedb9b25e42
