I’m going to treat myself to a week before Thanksgiving in Key West. I’d like to be near the beach in a luxury hotel that has history to it. I’m thinking something like the Don Cesar in St Pete. Any suggestions?

There's only one of that size in Key West that's historic, the La Concha. It's a nice property with a pretty amazing history.

Thanks so much for that, kyle! That’s one that I was looking at! Is it within walking distance to a beach and the action (I think Duvall St?).

It is, it's right on Duval Street in the heart of everything.

The Casa Marina is nice but kind of isolated if wanting to walk around the core of Key West frequently.

I stayed at Casa Marina years back and we never used the car, we rented a scooter for a day just for fun but never felt the need for a car. There were pools facing the water, private beach with hammocks, it was all wonderful.
