Saltwater dock knucklehead but in an area with decent freshwater fishing nearby.

yea I have friends in Jupiter. They say its great. Everything I have looked at there is definitely insanely priced in the HOA's there. Not sure what the skunk flag is.

Most waterfront condos and homes on the Panhandle have boat docks, with easy access to the Gulf, Bay or a few rivers. In most places, however, it's difficult to get from saltwater to freshwater fishing without using a boat trailer ... which somewhat limits the size of boat you can have and contradicts the point of a boat dock.

Burnt Store Marina is my final answer. Its South of Punta Gorda, North of Cape Coral.

Sebastian area fits that description. Excellent fishing for trophy largemouth and panfish in the Stick Marsh and surrounding lakes and the usual inshore species abound in the Indian River and deep water is close offshore the Inlet. $600,000 budget will work around Sebastian.

I live in Sebastian. It's a great fishing spot if you don't have a boat. The inlet is narrow and can be very tricky and crowded. It's 30 nm to the stream. In Jupiter and Stuart it's 8nm. Just for reference.

Maybe you should have specified that then, knucklehead. As there are homes on freshwater canals and rivers with access to saltwater. That's generally how the water gets to the ocean... So you don't want a house on a freshwater canal, then.
