Hey guys. I’ve decided to buy a house. Where in central FL (Lake/Sumter County) can I buy a place for 150k max. Manufactured home will have to do if need be… what areas should I look? And should I be looking on Zillow, etc. or is there a better option/something I haven’t thought of..?

The problem is there's almost no inventory anywhere now. You are almost better off buying land and putting down a new double wide but land prices are expensive now too. You will find better deals further out in more rural counties like Citrus and Levy. Tons of relatively affordable land then you purchase a new mobile home to put down and try to get all in under $150k.

You can find this in Sebring/Avon Park... Perhaps the least exciting place to be in the entire state. Among a slew of other issues.
