You don't know bra. You don't know where i live jack. I had less than 2" in June and only 3.5: this month so far. Need to wake up bra. I can post more pics to prove ya wrong like i did before. Cable was never out for me magee. I can be in Holiday from Hudson. Post up some rainfall amounts of all these cites right on the gulf. And compare them to Tampa's rainfall

No way anyone with half a brain jane can tell what someone has had for rainfall amounts when they don't know where that person lives. You can't prove jack and only harass like a 5 year old. Be like me telling you that you have had tons of rain jane and yet i have no clue where ya live. Rainfall amounts are never the same james even one mile apart bart. Yet this poster says ALL. West Pasco was the cheapest place to live in the state with home prices around 20k back in 2011 LOTS OF CRIME AND run down homes that were 90% renters. Many homes in my hood sat empty for 10+ years.

Link I got from one of the Florida Trend e-mail newsletters. (They’re great for telling you what’s happening across the state)

https://www.fau.edu/newsdesk/articles/rents-june

Quote:
But the research from FAU, The University of Alabama and Florida Gulf Coast University indicates that sharp rent increases in Fort Myers, Miami and the other six Florida markets are on pace to slow dramatically in the next year. At the same time, rents in the New York metro area are poised to rise about 21 percent by June 2023.

The main reason for this trend appears to be temporary Florida transplants returning home to New York, said Ken H. Johnson, Ph.D., an economist in FAU’s College of Business. Many workers fled New York because of COVID-related restrictions and worked remotely from Florida, but now firms are requiring their employees to come back to the office.

“Those COVID refugees placed a significant burden on the demand for rental units in Florida, and rents spiked to historic highs while New York became slightly more affordable,” Johnson said. “With those workers returning home, Florida should see a cooling in its rent hikes, and New York renters will again have to deal with much higher rates.”

The researchers use leasing data from Zillow’s Observed Rental Index to determine existing rents and statistically model historical trends from 2014. The analysis covers the entire rental stock of homes and apartments.

Parts of Lakeland, Winter Haven, Deltona, and Deland are very nice & affordable....not as affordable as along 27, but still quite reasonable. Pretty much, most places >45 minutes to a beach is affordable in FLA.

Places like Clewiston, Belle Glade are not very safe.

It's incredible how much things have changed in just 10 years. I used to live in Orlando (Winter Park) off of Aloma/Fairbanks for awhile and paid about $770/month for a 1 Bedroom Apartment that was managed well. Also was able to save money on a modest income for that time. Glad I left the state when I did. Thought traffic was bad there until the last time I visited a couple years ago.

Oki is about the same latitude as Boca. Just rains a lot and yes, still relatively a lot of people. If you are there for reasons that I think you are, that LQA makes it so much sweeter though

It's MUCH cheaper than the States. And unlike in FL they have topography to look at and drive through. The people are also extremely friendly. Plenty of open spaces and wilderness when you drive north. I'd say it's a little more tropical than FL, and probably more like the Bahamas in that sense due to being an island. It rarely gets below 40F here.

several states charge tax on short term rentals. I think Florida's is upto 6 months. Florida had 20 million short term visitors last year, who all use the states infrastructure, and thus, they must pay some tax so that cost isn't the sole burden upon Florida residents.

NY has NY wages. Cali has Cali wages.

Florida has Florida cost of living. But with Kansas wages.
