Oh I have an idea: liberal policies that wage war on the energy industry, give out free money like candy, and tax away money that could have been invested in the economy.

The solution is certainly NOT another liberal policy.

Most Americans are two missed paychecks away from being evicted or delinquent on their mortgage - why pretend this is new information? By chance are you independently wealthy or retired with a pension?

No they aren't.

One thing though, professional football players certainly deserve their compensation if we subscribe to the supply & demand model. The revenue the NFL brings in certainly justifies their contracts.

But you bring up an excellent point! That same supply & demand model would suggest that those same fast food workers deserve much more pay. Perhaps they should go the contract route
Over 40 years in customer service, from "lowly" grocery-bag filler and cart-pusher, to front end management, product-sampler at supermarkets, to on-site bench-tech (we went to the computer, the computer didn't come to us), and everything in between.

Anyone who thinks it doesn't involve skill or effort and that "anyone" can do it, I'll state right now they think this because they never did it successfully. They might have been a beer-server for a summer when they were 20, but they wouldn't have lasted longer than that singular summer, if they think "anyone" can do it. As a former front-end supervisor, I spit out more of those egotistical superiority-complex narcissists who would be fine as a CEO but would never make it in the trenches.

That's another excellent law from governor DeSantis! In Minnesota, about 50 miles north of the Twin Cities, there was an angry mob of leftist extremists that were protesting in a mostly white neighborhood. They showed that story on the local Twin Cities TV news. People in the neighborhood were trying to have a nice barbecue and relax, and there was an angry leftist mob swearing with bullhorns and causing a disturbance in the otherwise peaceful neighborhood. These are people that fled the inner city areas in Minnesota to get away from that crap.

Most likely, that law will prevent the mobs with trouble makers from causing disturbances in Florida, because the angry mobs will have fear of being arrested and hauled to jail. However, if the angry leftist mobs create a disturbance in Florida neighborhoods, hopefully the angry leftist mobs will be rounded up by the police that are respected by the law abiding Florida residents, then hauled away and locked up in jail where they belong.

There is a federal law against anyone picketing outside SCOTUS member homes too, but it's happening daily now. Nothing is being done about it because our federal law enforcement has been politicized.

DeSantis's law is only good if it's enforced...under both Pub and Dem state control throughout our future.

Laws are only as good as our willingness to enforce them.
