This may be a real stupid question, but are there any (Hot Spot) construction areas in Florida happening now that would be better than Ocala? (probably anything would be better than Ocala) How bout Georgia? how bout Alabama? How bout the whole country? Feedback would be appreciated

I've heard good things about construction in Alabama. I'd look into it.

You might want to post in Georgia and Alabama to get answers to your questions (suggestions).

The NW area of the state has many areas under development and the house are selling as the prices start to level and the asking prices are more realistic.

Id like to thank everyone for their feedback so far. and I would like to add that on my team is a Florida State Licensed Building Contractor also looking for work. He is even willing to settle for the pesky small jobs (he wouldnt have settled for before during the boom) here in Ocala

Not Northern Cal for sure... lots of unfinished housing projects with tumble weeds... unemployment in my area is like 6.9% and rising, much of it construction related... Vegas has some High Rise stuff going on... GL in your search!
