We are moving back to the Ormond Beach area of Florida in the near future and was curious if anyone knew anything about the "Ponderosa" mobile home park in Flagler County? Where is it? Has it been sold to a developer and people are selling out because they have to?

I was told it was about 4 miles north of Ormond Beach, but I don't see it anywhere. Also, what other name is "Old Dixie Hwy" called? Anyone know where this park is? We're not familiar with Flagler County, except to pass through it to go to St. Augustine.

We are probably going with either renting a place first or a mobile home for a couple of years, and then a permanent house to live in.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Is this Ponderosa place supposed to be near Old Dixie Hwy.? Old Dixie has no other name. There is no "Ponderosa" in the phone book. How did you hear of it?

The only place I can think of is a trashy looking trailer park on US 1 just south of the intersection of US 1 & Old Dixie. I mean, this place is awful looking from the road. It's not a mobile home park, it's a bunch of really old single-wides.
