Of course I am joking but really someone should change the title to be more descriptive. Not a big deal, just trying to lighten the mood. Someone appreciated it and gave me a reputation point I guess.
No VPN in use and only one account in use.
C’mon, the UKMET was totally en fuego for this storm.

I go to Sanibel every year and the causeway was just rebuilt a few years ago, I can't remember how many years ago, but it's less than 50 years old.

I just saw pic of what looked like a old bridge like the one i fished under in 1971. But maybe not. Enjoy the cool weather roy if it makes it down your way. I cheated fall and went to winter thanks to the wrap around. Flood Ins and all Ins will go way up now. With a rapid warming planet we will see more of this stuff duff.

Just need to stop rebuilding thanks to a super heating planet. These places will just keep getting storms like this and with sea rise it will get even worse.

Yeah, because Florida never got hurricanes before global warming.

Maybe just not build major population centers in areas subject to natural disasters.

They can build all they want. People on barrier islands just need to GET OUT when a storm is coming. Living there is expensive. I'm sure they aren't stuck there and can afford to get out. Even without a direct hit, even had the storm hit Tampa Bay instead, there is no reason at all to stay on Sanibel/Captiva when a storm is approaching the FL peninsula from the gulf.

Yeah, that’s more than just a bridge patch job to reattach the island to the mainland.
