Look at these temperatures for the weekend for Northern Florida …..

10 days in a row …. Tallahassee seeing highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s with blue sky ?! In early October? Usually this refreshing weather takes till Halloween to start up

Orlando !!! Saturday High of 83 degrees with sun …. Low 80s low humidity on the end of September Disney? That’s a record

West Palm Beach … October 1st …. Low humidity with an overnight low below the 70-degree mark?

This is rare! I think one of the earliest cool downs from the normal wet season pattern I’ve ever seen…. Yep in over 20 years there has never been an October 1st in Southeastern Florida with min temperature below the 70 mark and with low humidity throughout the day

We actually had cooler temps before the storm in Gainesville (highs in the high 70’s, but the humidity was still high so not entirely comfortable for long walks) but we’re now in the 60’s.

I read on a competing message board that this cold front is what saved Gainesville as it kept pushing the storm to the south where it then turned east.

70s today here. I’ve got the door to the back porch open in the middle of the day to let the fresh air in. The cats keep wandering out there only to get yelled at by the squirrels.
