I remember when I first moved here 27 years ago. One phone book for white pages and yellow pages and it was a friendly , inexpensive nice place to live. sigh...

I don't understand why there aren't more tax incentives for solar installation.Florida and solar is a no-brainer.
I've searched my area and can't find anything except pool solar installers.
I think adding on-demand hot water and solar hot water tank for laundry is the thing to do.

I can remember when it was that way also, back in the 1970's when I first moved to FL.

florida has gotten more expensive but i am currently up in new jersey and i don't think that floridians realize how much everything has gone up all around the country. it is not just florida! florida still has a pretty good cost of living compared to other states and i can't wait to come back to florida.

Maybe someday you will be "deregulated" like Texas and be able to choose from dozens of fly-by-night "energy providers" where you can pay 15 to 20 cents per kwh if you sign a 24 month contract, or 20 to 25 cents per kwh if you want to go month to month.

Check out our wonderful Power To Choose website where our PUC "protects" the consumer. Note the "What To Do If Your Electricity Provider Goes Out Of Business" section (as with 4 companies in the last 2 months). If you want to check out the Offers use zip 77066.

According to local local Naples News channel. They said average bill would go up about $16, for what that is worth.

Switch to window AC units. Mine are rate 10.7 on energy efficiency. You can turn them off or up to 85 degrees in rooms you are not using and they cool a room down faster then those energy sucking central AC units. Like lights just turn them cooler in the room you are using.

Obviously your source of info for FPL internal's procedures misguided you slightly...

The helicopter actually goes back and forth between multiple FPL facilities to encourage eco friendly transportation and any of the employees, down to the janitor, can choose a seat on it if needed to go to the other plans.

Does it also go back and forth for the big wheels to attend the skybox suites at Tropicana and RJ?
