Looking to move to Gainevilles, but every house i'm looking at on the real estate sites (for now) seem to be in HOA territory.
Where and what sections of Gainesville can I look where the houses are w/ 4 bedrooms maybe a pool at a reasonable price between 200,000-300,000 and no HOA? Or is every house in Gainesville HOA Geeze
I would hate to spend money on a house that should be mine and have to be told there are rules. Right now I live on 4 acres mostly trees, beautiful, clean, friendly neighbors and great school district and would hate to lose what we have for rules. Don't want such a huge property in Gainesville, nor farm land either. I love it here but job is relocating to Gainesville.

Help I don't want to be in a HOA!

Default HOA in Gainesville

Plenty of areas have no HOA fees. Older neighborhoods wont have them. Most of the newer subdivision however have them. Most of the homes that are west of Parker Rd are on larger parcels of land and have no HOA fees. You're probably wading through the unsold builder homes still on the MLS in the more recently built communities. You should be able to easily purchase a 4/2 for $250,000-300,000

Thank you so much for your answer and info. I will check about West of Parker.

It's just been so annoying because I haven't gone through a real estate agent yet & was looking on the real estate site and don't know much about the area to know where to excately look for a home without HOA, subdivisions etc.

The websites don't give you the option to look out of hoa or subdivisions

Again thanks
Anymore info i will gladly take
