I could not vote until 21 years old way back when. I turned 21 two weeks after the election and couldn't vote that year. It made me very upset and had a lasting effect on me.

I will turn 60 this November. I have not missed one single election since I turned 25. Many, many times I voted just for the sake of voting and chose the "lesser of two evils", so to speak, candidate. It is not only a privilege, but a duty as an American citizen to vote.

I told my daughters this growing up. I took them with me when they were younger to the polls to see what it was all about, just as my parents did with me. I actually can remember going to the polls with my Mom and her "I like Ike" button. Damn, that as a LONG time ago.

Vote.

I turned on the filters a long time ago. There are better things to get annoyed about than people trying to sway your vote.

If you chose to vote, fine. Stand behind who you voted.

If you chose not to vote, fine. Keep your mouth shut for the next 4 years.

I find it funny that people complain that they feel forced to vote. We live in such an unappreciative & lazy society.

If you don't want to feel pressured, just say so.
Too bad more people don't think like this
