Yeah, I see no reason to vote "NO" lol... if there ARE any "NO" votes (and it will be interesting to see the final percent tallies), I bet it will be because people didn't know what they were voting for.

I think I read somewhere that a lot of people will vote "Yes" on an Amendment, even if they have no idea what it is about.

If I understand it correctly, it says there won't be any regulations for illegal aliens to own a home in the US. Therfore, if you're an illegal alien you can own a home. IMHO, if that is what you want to do, do it legally and become a US citizen first. If not, then you don't have that right. I know ppl will call it discrimination, but honestly it allows freedom to ppl that have broken the law. I am voting "no".

I voted no as well. I do not discriminate, I mean my God, I married an illegal alien (now divorced and no, he still isn't legal, but left the country)-but I don't think an illegal alien should be able to purchase a home here is they are illegal. I mean come on already, if the border patrol can deport them because they aren't here legally, what is the sense of allowing them to buy a home? It might help contribute to the mess our country is in to begin with, who will pay for the home if they are deported? How are they paying for the home?

If I were there, I would vote yes.

Maybe it's worded so poorly because the person that put it on the ballot was in favor of it and knew that it being poorly worded would confuse people and they would vote yes anyways ?

i voted no because i felt that it would be giving illegal immigrants more rights. i don't know when our country stopped caring about american workers and started worrying about illegal immigrant rights.

Our country didn't stop caring about American workers, American workers decided they wanted top dollar to do less and most refuse to dig ditches and shovel .... but are quick to make a comment about how they are unemployed and an illegal is doing work they wouldn't want to do in the first place.

i am guessing that you are not an american worker with those statements! american workers not only lost some jobs, but they lost revenue (salary) with the illegal influx. the illegal immigrants often work under the table and do not pay taxes, so they can work cheaper than a man or woman who has to pay taxes and actually contribute to our economy! only the supposed elite say that there are jobs that americans won't do because americans have done every job imaginable in this country before the illegal influx and will continue to do so after they are gone!
