The reason why I said Miami-Dade is because of crazy drivers in the area, burglaries and high crime rate. If people like city life, traffic and congestion such as New York, Queens or Bronx, then Miami-Dade is for them. Of course this does not apply to Coconut Grove, the Keys or gated communities with 24 hour security.

If people want remoteness, peace and solitude with no amenities such as shopping mall, Belle Glades, Sebring and Okeechobee fall under this category.

Ahhhhhh. Thank you for clarifying. At first it seemed as if you were just generalizing and saying Miami was totally the worst in every respect.

There are nice parts of Miami- I will defend it. I loved Bay Harbour Islands and Sunny Isles.

One ugly area in Broward was Tamarac- white cracker box houses-traffic on Dixie Hwy (actually many areas near Dixie Hwy in S Florida= worse than anything in Miami)

I would prefer a condo anyday!

I couldn't have said it better.

It's how you live, that matters, not where you live.

Lakeland? Really? Nah.

Miami, Opa Locka, Riviera Bch., Belle Glade, Ft Myers, I could name quite a few actually.

I don't think it can get much worse than Belle Glade. Yuk. Riviera Beach is like the Italian Riviera compared to Belle Glade.

There's a lot to choose from but for me it would come down to a deathmatch between Daytona and Jacksonville. I'd say Daytona.
