You live in a small world.
You seem to only think about Florida, and you also seem to be focused on Football from your selection.
BUT, great topic.

What about:
Ohio State vs. Michigan (football)
Duke vs. North Carolina (basketball)
Louisville vs. Kentucky (basketball)
Army vs. Navy (football)
Anybody vs. Saracuce (lacrosse)
Phelps vs (the whole world (swimming)
Big House vs. (mrsunshine) (party time)
Suncostguy vs. Lilaclady (topics about Bradenton) (that gets my vote!)
Ladywithafan vs Anybody (finding a great happening event)
SoFLGAL vs Real Estate Market (finding the best deal)

See, There are many great challenges out there!

I meant the biggest rivalry just in the state of Florida.

Since Miami is a smallish private university and FSU and UF are large land grant type schools I'm guessing the FSU/ UF game is a bigger deal.

Me being a Florida State fan, I consider Florida to be our biggest rival. Historically though, our games against Miami have had more national implications.

The best way I can describe it is that us Nole fans have an outright hatred of all things orange and blue. With Miami, there is more of a mutual respect for each other. Especially now with Miami being in our conference.

Let me give you an example. I was walking on campus today (FSU) and there was a huge banner in front of the BCM building with a Gator logo and an Oklahoma logo, with the Gator logo crossed out like a no smoking sign. The banner advertised "Gator Hater Tailgate". It proceeded to say something like, "Everyone is a Sooner for a day, Come to the BCM building Thursday night and watch the Sooners beat down the Gators". If Miami was playing for the national title, you would never see that on FSU's campus.

I root for Florida to lose every game. With Miami, I am pretty indifferent unless they are playing us or the Gators (in which case I always pull for Miami).

Being a Midwest transplant (some 30+ yrs. ago) I'm still a Big Ten fan. However, the biggest rivalry in FL IMO is Gators v. Seminoles. I root for Miami to lose no matter the opponent.

It won't be a rivalry much longer if F$U can't win any of the games.

Growing up in Gainesville, the Florida -Georgia game was the biggest, but the Gator - Seminole game was without a doubt the most anticipated rivalry inside Florida.
