I saw a Travel channel show on this state park and I was amazed, this park looks beautiful!! The shots they were airing of the water looked alot like the water in Bora Bora, as in very bluish green and very clear! Anyone on here ever visit this park? Plus they said it is very affordable like most other state parks. I would also like to know if any of the other state parks in the keys are this good or better than Bahia? I hope to retire in the keys someday or Bora Bora, but that is a little on the pricey side!Thanks

I have friends who went camping in Bahia Honda last summer. They said it was BEAUTIFUL in the day time, but at night in the summer the mosquitos were out in full force. If you visit, come in the autumn or winter.

Best park in Florida if you ask me. There is nothing else like it. Turquoise water, beautiful beaches, away from nearby cities, and it is C-L-E-A-N!!!!!
