Miami would be great for your business.

Miami might actually be the worst place in the state to start their business. The Mexican population is minuscule, while other Caribbean and South American Latino groups are dominant. I think that some parts of Palm Beach County might be a good bet for the business, especially Lake Worth. Clearwater also seems to have a growing, visible Mexican presence.

Lake Worth is actually more Guatemalan than Mexican (at least it WAS growing increasingly Guatemalan.... I have a feeling with the downturn in the economy that a lot of "residents from out of country" may have packed up and left).

Belle Glade has a sizeable Mexican population. As does Indiantown in Martin County, and Fort Pierce in St. Lucie County.

United States - Data Sets - American FactFinder

you can break this down by race, including mexican

do, data profiles, then county

for ex,
Hillsborough has 56k mexicans
Orange has 37k
Polk 39k

Texas or Georgia or NC would be a better option

When you say Latino clothing and showear - can you be more specific? Depending on what it is, Tampa might be a good place. I am Latino myself, and all my relatives love to dress up. There is also a very diverse Latino population in Tampa, these stores tend to do well.

Good luck.

The OP did not say they sell Mexican clothing, they stated they sell Latino clothing and that currently most of their customers are Mexican. Miami would still be the best location since they have the most variety and largest population of Latinos in Florida.

Yeah, but there's a big difference between "Mexican/Central American" Latino tastes and South American Latino tastes....

What is "Latino clothing" anyway? Panchos and Sombreros .... or Euro hats and Cubavera shirts? (SW USA vs. Miami!)

Yes that is true, but the OP may want to tailor his market around the Latino population in Florida. The OP needs to state more specifics.

I know lots of Mexicans and Guatemalans in Lake Worth. Go to the Sunshine International Market in West Palm Beach and tell me those people aren't Mexican. It seems like other Hispanics are beginning to move in to, as you can now spot Colombians and other South Americans in Lake Worth, as well as Puerto Ricans (who are moving in mostly in Greenacres).
