The sprawl here is the worst of any place I've lived(national Geographic had an article on it 1or 2 years back) and if you go for a jog or bikeride you better wear a suit of armor for protection from the nutjob drivers in Orlando.

Sadly, I know what you mean about the nutjob drivers in Orlando. It didnt used to be like this here in Orlando. Driving wasnt the headache and eye-opener it is now.

I think this was the article you speak of:

Orlando - National Geographic Magazine

I think what we need to change is for people to have more information available to them so they wont make a mistake and move to Florida and then sit around for months on end blaming the state for their poor choices of towns, jobs or lifestyle.
Central Ohio has its own sprawl areas but you know what, I avoid them and they do not bother me. I pay attention to my surroundings in my own neighborhood and not some area 25+ miles away from me that has no bearing on my life whatsoever.
Guess if you are out looking for that kind of stuff to give you a reason to move then you get what you paid for I would say.
Someone needs to put more emphasis on either how to improve Florida or find ways to move out of Florida sooner to make room for people who would be an asset to the state instead of a hindrance.

I agree with them all especially no. 2.

No person who is not an current American citizen should be able to purchase a single bit of any land in America. We need to make that a law and also change the law regarding US citizenship if you are born here.

Florida has been hit hard by the 3 items above and yes I agree those are perfect ways to improve Florida from day one.

So you want people that are born in America to not be Americans?

Make that TWO less, as I am patiently waiting for my husband to sell the house and move to Kentucky with me.
