Good, so you left FL? We are moving back north now, and will probably wash on this house. We didn't buy high at all, but now that everyone wants something for absolutely nothing (just the opposite of a few years ago) we'll see where we end up.
Glad you are settled now. Hopefully, we will be soon as well.

Yea those darn people who overpaid because they thought they were stealing something and then screwed up and got greedy and hung on to a property to long caused all of this mess.

Everyone wants a good deal, if you are not looking for a good deal then you might as well live in an apartment as you must not understand what a good deal is.

For those who overpaid you cannot tell me you did not think that you were buying a steal of a deal when you bought it, then all of a sudden its everyone elses fault that the property is now valued at the real value.

No one forced me to sign my real estate contract and I had access to attorneys, inspectors, 2nd and 3rd appraisals and every tool I could use to not overpay for my property.

For those who were smart enough to buy and sell and make money congrats! For those who stuck the banks, thanks for the complete disaster we are in, all of us who are paying on time every time are now paying for your mistakes and non commitment to your contract.

No one to blame for this mess other then those who either are greedy or kinda forgot you signed a contract. No person who dumped a house back on any bank ( medical reason excluded ) should be allowed to buy another home for a long period of time, that would end this crazy mess and force people to stay in their home and make them work a 2nd or 3rd job is need be. After all you agreed to pay that price at that time.

Have you ever asked yourself why did I move to Florida to begin with?

I find it odd that people ran to Florida and when something happens they run back up north. For what? You left here once for a "reason".

Did it ever occur to you that some people do not move to Florida by choice?

Thank you. It is getting old for those who do things right to be penalized while people who make one mistake after another get another chance and then another chance and then a handout.

Time to reward those of us who do things right, pay our bills on time and honor our commitments. Time to penalize and not reward for poor decisions and an attitude to screw others over just because they want to.

We are rewarding losers people, time to reward people for doing well !!

I agree. I found an article from 1999 detailing this same fact as noted above.

Absolutely - there are so many of us who pay our debts no matter what, drive old cars, live within our means and all that. Sometimes though, life happens and some made wrong decisions. I'm sorry for all those with medical issues and family issues out of their control.

God be with us through all of this.
