Maybe on the east coast but not the gulf. Here everyone is from the midwest.

Just remember to take anything you read on a message board with a grain of salt.
Especially if someone speaks in absolutes.

The west coast has a mixture of people from all over, many are from NY and many are from the mid west.

If you go to the SE areas around Palm Beach, Ft.Lauderdale and Miami you will have a higher percentage of NYers and not as many from the mid west.

Very good article from another thread posted by Wild Style. It's what I have been saying all along. I only left NY a year and a half ago.

Well out of 4 posters on this thread at least 2 are from NY and live on the west coast of Florida.

I'm not from the Midwest. I also lived in NYC for a year and a half though I'd never consider myself a NY'er.

Broward County is filled with New Yorkers. They get on my nerves with their "back in New York ______ was so much better" stories.. Please if New York was that much fun, please go back! New Yorkers are ruining what little Southern charm Florida has left.

They already ruined it.

Hopefully they will not discover north Florida for a few decades.
