My wife and I came across NSB 2 years ago looking for a week's break from the NE cold/snow. Had a great, quiet time in this sleepy beach town and looking forward to doing it again the end of February, after the colder weather leaves FL!
It would be great if someone could point out some of the better golf courses in the area where my obliging spouse can also enjoy herself without being tortured by water and sand.
Also, after roaming around the beach for the week we happened across the Cape Canaveral National Seashore Park for the best surf fishing and the jetty at the north end of NSM kept us pretty busy. My wife doesn't like boats bit loves to fish- she climbed all the way out on that jetty, with rod in hand!
Are there any other places around NSM like those and what kind of baits were the best overall? We saw a lot of fish but didn't catch a whole lot lacking the local knowledge everyone else had. Would like to improve on that this time
