Absolutely disgusting.

Three still in hospital after Thursday morning shooting (http://www.nwfdailynews.com/news/thursday_15453___article.html/baker_students.html - broken link)

These kids came from Chile to Florida to learn English and study a bit, and were murdered or shot for their trouble. Imagine how regretful their parents now feel about their decision to visit the Sunshine State. This is getting substantial press all across Latin America, and not just in Chile.

Quote:
Several Chilean students were leaving a quiet gathering early Thursday morning when a man approached the window of the townhome where they were, opened fire with his rifle, killed two and injured three...

Adkinson said the shooting happened about 1:45 a.m. when Dannie Baker, 60, approached Unit 12 in the Summer Lakes townhome complex and opened fire through a window.
Too many crazies in Florida. Too many violent crazies with firearms, to be more precise. The state's mental healthcare infrastructure is an underfunded mess, to say the least.

Wtf that is crazy. I wonder if there was a motive or a random act of inhumane insanity that is magnitized to this paradox of a paradise we call the gunshine state oh I mean sun-shine state. We have the most absurd sh*t per capita in the US I swear.

100% true... disgusting
But why are you blaming the state of Florida? Too many crazies in Florida? There are too many crazies EVERYWHERE. And just what does the "state's mental healthcare infrastructure" have to do with anything? This guy should have been caught before the crime? You're thinking of the Tom Cruise movie "Minority Report".
Not long ago that horse's ass investment counselor took off from Indiana flying south and bailed out over Alabama and let his plane crash in Florida. Certainly the population of Indiana is somehow accountable for this guy. That's no more true than blaming Colorado for the Columbine tragedy.
