We have a large flock of white Ibis in the neighborhood, it's great watching these beautiful bird canvas a yard looking for tasty morsels. There are about 30 individuals in the flock.

Went boating in Gasaparilla sound last week the white pelicans winter on a small island there, it's amazing to watch these birds. Just don't spend time down wind of the island.

My amaryllis are in bloom. And the birds in the neighborhood are all singing. How's that for a new song?

Pink Flamingo are native to Africa. I've never seen one in Florida except in zoos.
We do have a Rosetta spoonbill

hahaha - alas, the pink flamingos in Florida are really only to be found in the tacky souvenirs or zoos..... but we have other types of incredible birds and wildlife. I am endlessly entertained here in my neighborhood by the bay by all the wonderful and various birds, etc. here - not to mention beautiful plants and trees and the sparkling bay .... being able to have this everyday of my life is what makes me feel wealthy, not the amount of $$$$ in the bank ( which isn't very much, lol!)

Of course there are! They tend to enjoy living in retirement communities.
