lol? I'm at a loss as to why so many people on this florida board love the midwest, it really makes me wonder if they have ever lived there. Trust more people living in the midwest?!? You go do that...

I know PLENTY of people in Missouri that leave their doors unlocked. Of course, its rural areas. And yes, I was born and raised there.........

I'd much rather deal with 3 people per 100 sq miles in Missouri than deal with people in Miami.

You know, there are some places, burgler09, where people dont have to lock their doors. I have family in NC that doesnt. And they live right in the city limits and a short walk from downtown. You live in Miami, so that is foreign (no pun intended) to you. Just being honest.

I live in the midwest too, and we'll never leave our doors unlocked again. Just wait you'll get burned eventually. The right Crook will find your hospitality.

It's funny how some folks associate states like Missouri with 3 ppl per 100 sq miles. It's like some people in S FL have to be packed in like sardines to feel like they "live somewhere special." Most people dont like being piled on top of eachother.

You are so right! Even though I live in Marion County, we had to get out of Ocala. We live on the edge of the Forest, and it is very nice, indeed!
